I will be charting the Big East teams progress in Men's Soccer as against the ACC, Pac-12, Big Ten, Big XII, SEC and American. I will update the score tallies at least once a week but likely more frequently. Exhibition games not included. For Men's Soccer, here is what we have on the schedule through games of Sunday, September 8:

8/30: Georgetown at California

9/1: Georgetown at Stanford

9/2: Northwestern at DePaul
St. John's at Virginia

9/6: West Virginia at Georgetown

9/7: Butler at Louisville
Northwestern at Xavier

9/8: Penn State at St. John's
DePaul at Wisconsin

Not too bad of a schedule to start the season. We will play 4 against the Big Ten, 2 against the Pac-12, 1 each against the ACC, American, and Big XII. Go Big East!

Red, the SEC does not sponsor men's soccer. Might want to swing the A-10 in there to replace them for this sport.

We'll just keep it to the other five rather than six. Although we are not counting exhibition games, should note two top ten wins this week. Creighton beat #6 Notre Dame and St. John's beat #2 Maryland yesterday.

Agreed, just do the major conferences and AAC as Louisville, UConn, Cincy and South Florida are still there. Great showings by St. John's and Creighton!

Even though the SEC does not sponsor soccer, I will include games against them in this analysis since they would be major programs anyway.

Not from a major conference but Creighton plays #14 Tulsa tomorrow. Big opening game.

Creighton defeats #14 Tulsa 2-0 in front of 3,000+, not a bad way to start the season!

Not bad at all Jays! Unfortunately, the Hoyas dropped their opener to California on the left coast.

vs. Pac-12: 0-1

overall: 0-1
