Interesting that this is the only D1 game today (and doesn't appear to be a good one). You'd think that other teams throughout the entire NCAA would schedule a game given there is no competition? I don't care what football games or whatever are scheduled for tonight, a lot of people prefer college basketball.

I understand it's only 2 days after Christmas, but still seems odd. There's 350+ teams and only one game today.

Anyways, go Jays!

it's cheap post-Christmas fare...eating leftovers and watching lil Creighton "let it fly" versus KC...Will they or won't they hit the C-note?
Will all 21 suited up play? Will the Waterboys run out of gatorade? Will Jett Canfield finally get in and score? What's the over/under on Froling getting 15 points?

I know a lot of people are down on Creighton this year... but they're #53 in NET. Only one behind Maryland.

I don't think they make the Tournament, but if they play well in conference they absolutely could.

So I say, suck it up Creighton fans! You're a borderline bubble/NIT team in a year nobody (besides gtmo) expected you to be good. Go out there and try to defy expectations again. You're not in a bad position right now.

Gonna have to disagree here even as a Jays fan. Went 0-4 in the big non-con games (Ohio St, Gonzaga, Nebraska, and Oklahoma) with the only good win (not even that good of a win) was against Clemson. Idk about the rest of you but I've officially ruled the Jays out of the dance. NIT is still in play though.

I think NIT as well but if we can get to 10 Big East wins total, we'll be on the bubble, 11 will probably get us in. Tough task as we haven't played well on the road at all, we'll see.

Still a great position to be in for a "rebuilding" year. Teams like the Johnnies and Hoyas (and of course DePaul) have been rebuilding for years without making the NIT.

Again, I don't think they make the NCAAs but if they do really well in conference play they will.

Well it's official then. Da Jays can "mail it in" and we (jays fans) can all go and watch hockey. Go Canucks!
