Hoyas defeat the actual Bahamas National Team today 91-61. Yesterday the national team beat Texas Tech 63-57 so pretty impressive win for the Hoyas.

3pt shooting not as good today 32% but bound to come back down to earth a bit. As long as we can hit enough to punish teams for packing the paint against us we should be good.

The Pirates got 2 very easy wins in Italy with the 3rd (really the first) game getting cancelled. Obviously doesn't mean much considering the level of competition we all face in these games, but a potential reason for optimism is that Powell sat out both games and the team still scored 83 and 108 points. The biggest question mark around the team right now is the lack of secondary scoring options and (again, * for level competition) this may have answered that a bit. Sandro was the leading scorer in these 2 games, averaging 19.
