That is a statement win for the conference. Not only does Seton Hall win, but they won without 2 of their best players on the court. Not to mention they beat a Top 10 ACC team. Great win SHU! Way to represent!

I know it's tough to still believe, but Maryland is in the Big Ten, not the ACC. I still make that mistake a lot!

HA! Oh man, such an amateur move on my part. I knew they were Big Ten but my brain still has a hard time not associating them with the ACC. Well, beating a Big Ten team ain't too shabby either!

Especially considering the big ten is pretty clearly the strongest conference so far. Hall got us back to 6-8 against them. Only conference were in the red to

Late to the party. Big time win for Hall, even sweeter they did it without Powell and Sandro. Huge resume win for the committee come March, congrats!!

Oh for sure.... figured that what it was....

if you had told me Dec 20, 2009 everything that would have happened realignment in the 10's I'd have said you were crazy. Totally bonkers.... And kind of fun question for folks.... back Dec 20,2009- I told you that there would be all the realignment and the Big East would split, and add 3 members. Who would they have been?

Xavier I think is real easy.

but the other 2? Butler hadn't gone on their run yet. Creighton was still in the Dana Altman days. Saint Louis was doing really well with Majerus(still to this day think if he had been alive, SLU is in the Big East initially).

This win boosted Hall from #59 to #41 in NET! Not bad at all having 2 Q1 wins (with another solid win against Iowa St) in December.

Yeah, having the 1 guaranteed Q1 win is huge(not really counting on SLU remaining top 75 end of the day)…. Also remember how last year they split up the Q1 and Q2 into Q1A/Q1B/Q2A/Q2B? Well, this is a Q1A type win....

Very nice jump. I'm not gonna bank on @SLU staying a Q1 win, but if either that one or ISU(n) can manage to finish the year there it would be very nice.

Actually, looking a bit more at SLU, they had very low expectations coming into the year but have put together a pretty decent OOC so far. A win over K-State (not easy but possible) would leave them as one of 5 or 6 A10 teams going into A10 play with still realistic at-large hopes. The top of the A10 looks fairly strong, so they could certainly get knocked down a peg or 2, but that also means opportunities to build a solid resume. Still wouldn't bank on them staying top 75, but it's possible.
