Using some calculation (see article), Louisville's average player is worth $1.63 million. How does the BE stack up?

1. MU $553,450
2. Xavier
3. Gtown
4. Nova
5. SJU
6. DePaul
7. Providence
8. SHU
9. Creighton
10. Butler $150,924

Suck it football. What's everyones opinion on paying players? For? Against? Undecided? I think if we paid them their "fair market" value the NCAA would go down in flames. Obviously won't happen, but I think giving players a little stipend wouldn't hurt.

I find it hard to stomach a stipend when players receive what generally amounts to 180,000 dollars worth of scholarship. If you want to set up an account for jersey sales or something that is paid out when they leave that's fine but giving them an extra couple thousand is not necessary. Plus if you pay the bball players and football players then you have to pay the field hockey and swimming teams as well. It is not sustainable
