Great job by McDermott this year. Great job by Stubblefield this year. Jay Wright is Jay Wright. But Cooley taking a team that was 7th in the preseason poll to win the league should win it running away, and he will.

I don't disagree but let me get our Omahanians a bit fired up... Let's say--hypothetically of course--that Creighton beats SHU on Saturday to become 8-1 in conference at home beating the other top 4 teams (VU, UCOnn, Marq and SHU) . Impressive. And let's say that PC did actually face that same Creighton team in Omaha and lost. Any maybe, just maybe that same PC team had to face UConn a 2nd time--this time with Sonogo--and dropped that game too. Not all that unlikely to lose a game to one of the top 4 teams in conference, right?
So all of a sudden PC is sitting at 15-5 without a BE RS crown and lil' ol' Creighton is sitting at 14-6 a game behind them. Look at the two lineups. Which seems more unlikely?
Hmmmmm...... woyuld def like Git's or Omaha's or Jet's take on that one.
