I doubt it, we don't have any AP votes, we are like 29th in the coaches so we'll probably move up a few spots there. AP voters are lazy, lots probably turned their ballots for the week already. I think if we beat Marquette, we'll get ranked.

it'll be interesting to see the impact of that Marquette game. Marquette is so tarnished right now at only 7-5. I don't know how much beating a team that would then be 8-6 would impact the voters. I suppose if you beat them by 20+ maybe, but if it's a 5-8 point game, I don't know the impact at all...

I don't think it will help much either but more of attrition of the teams ahead of us, eventually the teams ahead of us will lose a few games and we'll just move up cause we are next in line....

yeah and 7-3 for the weekend. 2/3 losses predicted- just lost the Marquette game, while Xavier won(probably a good tradeoff quite frankly!) Next weekend has 10 more games- with 4 more very losable games(Xavier/WF, Nova/Cuse, Prov/UMass, DePaul/Northwestern).

Creighton should be ranked. They continue to impress.

We really should not be justifying wins or losses over east washington or illinois state. Man I wish depaul and shu would get their acts together. Don't see it happening though.

I think ten years or so from now, they will say McDermott staying for his senior year was one of those pivotal events for the new Big East. He looks good out there in his one.

I disagree only because those guys were around for 3-4 years and had 100+ games to make that impact. I don't think 1 season will make anywhere near the same impact. I think the other thing that is really missed is the coaches that were around when the league started up. I don't think the group of coaches that we have are anywhere near the group that the BE had 35 years ago when we started up......

You disagree? I'm shocked. Really, I am.
