That Bulldogs-Gophers line is an eye opener. Gophers return their starting BIG and starting freshman sniper from UofL killers in last years tournament. Add 2 expressive high D1 transfers now eligible, I can’t see them losing by 10 against a banged up BU squad. BUT, after watching DePaul blast Iowa maybe Dawgs win by 20! Man, the Hawkeyes have to be the least athletic power 6 team in recent memory....the bottom half of the B10 stinks!

Jeremiah Tilmon destroyed X last year and brings his 6’10” 260 filled uniform to Cintas tonight while Tyrique Jones waits with blood in his eyes. Ty is not 100% but good enough to neutralize him if he can stay on the floor for 25+ minutes. If not, given nearly a year to ponder what went so terribly wrong, Coach Steele most certainly has game planned to limit his production. Guy is a load so hopefully X will use a group of players to whack him hard down low.....force a poor FT shooter to make hay from the line.

I think creighton and butler will win, but Missouri will be a very tough game for us. Hopefully we’re ready to play

Im not really optomistic about Creighton, Mintz is out, no Epperson obviously, we only got 2 players taller than 6'5 unless you want to count our 6'7 walkon. Jefferson is likely out and its a road game. Hopefully they will surprise like Depaul did....

:o :o Loving the confidence Jet. The season must have started?

If Michigan attempts to run and shoot...which is supposedly how their coach wants to play...the Jays will win handily. Ballock-Alexander-Zegarowski will shoot 'em down. The Wolverrines have too many holes in their game to beat CU this early. UM's best shot is to slow the game down to limit their mistakes and hope the Jays shooting goes cold.

Big test for Xavier tonight, Mizzou whooped us last year.

I am really high on the new pieces that Xavier has brought in and a little down on the core four. Because of that, I see this game being competitive but ultimately the inexperience of our young guys this early in the season keeping this from being a victory. Heres to hoping I'm wrong.
