I agree, these numbers are fantastic.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys have a seat license for some of your tickets?

What is your average ticket price?

Good luck this season! I will be routing for all big east teams, especially the newcomers.

The lower bowl which is 6000 or so (maybe more not sure) has a booster fee attached to each seat. Some of the more expensive ones include a parking pass as part of the cost. I don't know about the upper bowl if a seat license is required or not.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Lower bowl is around 9,000 and yes, each seat in the lower bowl has a seat license associated with it. The cost depends if you are courtside, corner or endzone.

I'm sure Milwaukee treats Marquette better than South Orange treats Seton Hall. Good for the Jays though, seems they are loved and appreciated by their town. Which we could say the same.

Sure glad Creighton was one of the three schools added. Perfect example of what this league is all about, basketball only, basketball crazy schools.

Strange thing is that Seton Hall is a diocesan college - the only one of its kind, I think. So, you'd think that their identity would be more imbedded in the local fan base than a school like Marquette which has regional appeal and draws its students from all over the place, not so much from just the local population. In that sense, Seton Hall is more like a state school. But The Hall has always seemed to have a problem building a following.

With joining the Big East is Creighton going to still have the blue candy-striper pep club on the sidelines? What are they called, The Hoop-dee-doo-Review? I saw them at the Wells Fargo Center last year. I don't know if I found them cute, a slice of Americana/local tradition, or lame. Part of me appreciates a different look than the normal cheerleader/dance squads everyone has. Part of me would appreciate a different, different look.

Creighton does have a dance squad and they do a fairly good job. I guess the striped overall wearing, face painting buffoons are sort of a cheer squad / pep club. I can tell you 9.99 out of 10 CU fans think they are lame (at least on the message boards). We wish they would go away or at least change their look.

They're called the "Blue Crew". Saying they're lame is literally the nicest thing anyone has ever said about them. They do a poor job of leading cheers, which is bad enough since that's their raison d'être. But they also take their fashion cues from Husker football fans (who are known to wear red striped overalls), which is an unforgivable sin in my book. Ugh.

I generally agree with you. However, MU is competing with the BUCKS and the minor league Hockey team for butts in the seats. Also, Nebraska does not have the basketball following that Wisconsin has.
