Ugh....apparently, Mustapha Heron is out of tonight's SJU exhibition game with a concussion.....

Ugh that's especially brutal considering the rumors of what his mom's medical condition is. Hope he passes through the protocol soon and gets back on the court healthy and ready to go.

Just noticed that Emmitt Holt played only 6 minutes. Can one of you Friars give us the inside scoop on him? Also, would like to hear if any players got banged up in their openers.

Creighton came through fine, but Epperson did not suit up. He apparently went through some parts of practice today. I have heard concussion protocol and also issues with his knee, so I don't know which this was. Martin Krampelj played about 25 minutes on his remanufactured ACL. Seemed a little tentative at times, but did open the scoring with a nice pick and roll ally-oop dunk. They apparently limited his practice the following day, and will continue to manage his practice and game time for now. Zegarowski, who had a really nice debut, appears to be recovered from the back injury he suffered over the summer, but coach commented that he has a little ways to go with his conditioning.

Holt is still only at 80% strength and Ed didn't want to overwork him. Going to bring him back slowly.

Duke and Reeves both cramped up late in the game, no biggie, and are fine for tonight.

Kaleb Johnson missed the opener due to a Leg inury. Was in a boot about a week ago, but is likely to suit up tomorrow.

Looks like Goodin is a go for Xavier this afternoon vs Evansville....probably just to knock off some rust as we expect to cruise in this one.

So, it appears we all made it through roughly 20% of the regular season in good shape....unless I missed something. Any updates on the already mentioned injuries? I see that Emmit Holt is still lacking any significant minutes. How is he progressing? I can say that Goodin continues wearing a jacket on his left shoulder. He says he is fine and it's just a precaution but he's not playing as if that's the case. Way too many turnovers due to some weak passing. That appears to be causing his assist numbers to suffer. His stroke from distance not good either. Other than that, X 100% and ready to rock!!

Mustapha Heron is injured? What is the situation?

My XU team is as healthy as we've been all season,....nearly 100% with a mini win streak going. We did lose FR guard Keonte Kennedy for "personal reasons". Not sure if he will be back.

Let's hear from you guys. How's everybody holding up heading into March?
