Georgetown didn't disappoint, and reacted in the same manner as the Johnnies. That means a few more days without having to see you post.

Not the time of year for moral victories, but it was nice to see the Pirates make a game of it after the complete no-show over the first 10 minutes. That said, the first 10 minutes was completely inexcusable, especially after players admit they expected Xavier to "roll over" in the prior game.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, why can't this team more consistently play with the desperation and aggressiveness they have when fighting back from a big hole?

I'd also like to see Powell be more selfish. Twice he threw a ball away down 5 in the last 2 minutes. Both times he had room to shoot and I thought he should have taken them himself. If he took and hit even one of them, my money would've been on the Hall pulling it off.

Oh well, deep into desperation time now. Good game, Johnnies.

Bad day for the bubble teams with Hall and Hoyas losing.

...went to the Garden tonight. That was a great atmosphere and it turned out to be a fun game. Seton Hall made it exciting at the end. Great win by the Johnies.

Very enjoyable Johnnies game! Glad we can finally play some SJU vs SHU games that have relevance for both teams.

SJU averaged over 18,000 per game at MSG this season. That is great news for them and the conference. When SJU does well, they are on the back pages of the City papers and the City is engaged. When NYC is engaged in college hoops, the Big East hits a different level.
