Hoyas need to take care of business, but the path to a sole 3rd place finish is now there.
With the way the league is and the bubble in general, 3rd place (solely) might be the difference when trying to choose between several BE teams on the bubble. I mean double round robin don't lie. If G'town can claw their way to 10-8 and everyone around them is 9-9, 8-10 it's got to make some impression on the committee, no? I just can't see any scenario where a top 5 conference only gets 2 bids. I think we get a 3rd just out of respect. And who knows if a couple of teams can make runs in the BET. Maybe we steal a bid this year from other conferences.

When if ever have all 10 teams in a conference finished at 500 or better? Our last place team(s) may finish with 7 freakin wins. This is unprecedented. All of us 500 and better with great non-conference SOS's.
St John's plays Xavier, meaning at least one of them will finish at 500. Seton Hall still has 2 shots at another great win or two vs Villanova and Marquette. Plus we all have wins to potentially pick up in the Garden.
And yadda yadda yadda...
Anyway, having said all that, i think we'll get 4 bids. I can't see us getting penalized due to our balance and competitiveness and again, the fact that all of us will be at 500 or better.
I'm thinking i agree with Jet, that the BET semifinalists will get NCAA bids.
