St John's so far down that they would have an uphill battle to make the tourney.

Seton Hall keeps on going the way they are- and with everyone else losing - a dream scenario for the Pirates of a 1 seed at MSG could start to be a reality. That would be huge for the Big East.

Pretty terrible effort by Butler today. None of the players looked like their head was in the game for some reason. Now they get to go on the road to Nova - not a great place to try to regain your mojo.

That and DePual playing very well... They shot great and made their free throws, and they got a lot of them! We seemed to be a step slow and they took advantage of it.
