Even with GTown and StJohns going down, this outcome helps out a lot. Let's face it, with what PC has been through, it's a nice one, for both them and for the conference.

Providence win was huge. Also, avoided the upset with Marquette who beat Southern by 7(we just had to almost jinx it earlier this week!)

5-2 tonight not too bad. now wait for Tuesday when Xavier gets Tennessee- our next big game!

Thanks guys! Atmosphere at the Dunk was fantastic. From the 10 minute mark til the end, the electricity and intensity at the Dunk was amazing. The Friar Pep Band is one of the best around-- electric guitars, Ozzy, Theme From "Rocky". How did the place look on the Fox telecast? Game traffic had to navigate through the Friday I-95 and downtown rush hour, which also lent to the atmosphere... definitely felt like a "Big Event"...

Didn't realize Harris and Desrosiers were going to look so good, and wasn't expecting Fortune to be so improved from last year. So good to see the conference do well tonight, even in the 2 losses which were hard fought games.

Go Big East!!!

I thought the Dunk looked great. was kind of worried there about a minute to go in the 2nd half- and then when the 3rd guy fouled out in overtime, I thought that would be killer. But Cotton took over and did what a all star player is supposed to do- put the team on his back...

Any word up there on Dunn. While tonight was great, I think Dunn takes you to another level.

Saw Chukwu sitting behind the pc bench. He brings the one thing I think prov doesn't have this year, a legit rim protector.
