I had forgotten how annoying his voice was until I watched some game this year with him announcing.

Dickie V tires me out. I can't wait till this guy retires. His voice annoys the hell out of me.

I actually stopped watching the game today because Vitale is so irritating. Once SJU was down big, the game and Dick became unbearable.

Vitale put out a book which is raising money for the V Foundation, which is great. At one point, they showed a page where he lists his Mount Rushmore of shooters and Mullin was on the list. Great, except he spelled his name “Mullen”. SMH.

Yeah, FS1's coverage has left no doubt they are superior at MBB coverage. I'm scared if ESPN comes in and tries to buy us out, it would be a shame if we lost what we have with FS1. Best hosts and announcers ever.

I agree. I much prefer our arrangement with Fox/FS1. Virtually every game is covered and there isn't one announcing team that annoys me. Between Duke Vitale, that smug Jay Bilas and ESPN's constant promotion of the NBA (which I have zero interest in), I'd rather stay with Fox.

Big East games wouldn't be on ESPN. The WWL would stick them on ESPNU, ESPNEWS and steaming only games on espn3. No thanks! I like 19 Big East games on Fox. FS1 has been great to us. Picking up strength with the Big Ten.

I agree totally. ESPN would not do us any favors. We'd be plopped on ESPN-3 and The Ocho. It would suck. Our exposure would suffer as a whole.

And FS1 has now become part of our identity. I think this is an important point.
