Who is the woman on that Mt. Rushmore?

I would count this as good news. Interested to see what, if anything, else changes on Crowd Goes Wild.

Regis is in his 80s? That's old. I saw this show for the first time today (snow day at work) and it was a disappointment, but still better than ESPN's afternoon shows. I cannot stand Stephen A, Kornheiser or Woody Hayes, etc. I'm biased but I like Fox Sports Live more than SportsCenter.

This spot will be outstanding pub for Seton Hall & the BE during the biggest TV event in the country. Great timing signing with FOX!

Nice ratings for the Big East games last week. Villanova vs. Marquette got 233K, Creighton vs. Villanova (184K), Georgetown vs. Creighton (176K) and Butler vs. Providence (36K). The Creighton vs. Villanova game replay the next day got 67K.

Seems odd that Villanova-Marquette outdrew Creighton-Villanova by 50,000. Maybe Milwaukee is a Hoops Hotbed? Everyone in Omaha was at the game?

Monday vs Saturday would be my guess. Milwaukee is also a bigger city, so more possible eyeballs.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Ranked teams bring the eyeballs. Not that people are tuning in to see them win. Fans of teams ranked 10-20 often tune in to see a possible loss by a 9th ranked team. Fox ratings hinge on how many BE teams are ranked.

think it's more likely that it's the closeness of the game- after a certain point- it's turnoff city for a lot of folks.

I suspect that some of the east coast markets aren't used to Creighton in the Big East yet (hopefully the shooting exhibition at Nova has changed that). Those same markets are familiar with Marquette because they have been in the Big East for a much longer time.

I also think a Saturday night game will generally draw better numbers than a Monday night game, regardless of the market.

so much for FS1 getting the NFL...
http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Dail ... rsday.aspx

CBS gets it for network tv.

Fox now has to get either NBA or Big Ten.
