I think Butler should sell out their first Big East game even if it was against DePaul. Excuses suck.

True, I wish Creighton had your success, but we sell twice as many tickets as you guys hold with alot less success.
Bragging about a fan base that strongly supports a team that hasn't ever won cosecutive post-season games outside of the CBI and CIT? I could make a case that it just shows how bored people are in Nebraska. Whatever makes you Creighton fans feel better about yourselves. I prefer to brag about the fact that my team wins things that count.

You're confusing my response to redman with an excuse. I've already said that butlers support in Indy is disappointing and that it could be much better.
Here, I was simply commenting on the attitude of original schools directed towards the new(er) additions. After he decided to take issue with a characterization I made.

Like a Horizon conference title?

Respect? Yes. Adoration? No.

We won one of those on our way to the championship game last time St Johns was in any kind of tournament that counted... What happened there for you guys? You have an uncoached team with no basketball IQ... Good luck getting by on talent alone...

Respect? Yes. Adoration? No.
Why? Why do these teams deserve more, or a similar level of, respect than any of the other average teams over the past decade?
