Marquette and Xavier are struggling. DePaul is coming alive.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Just thinking a little bit about next season, I’d buy Creighton and DePaul’s stocks now. Especially Creighton if they get everyone back, could be a preseason top 10 team.

Creighton I'm with you 100%. DePaul will be interesting to see how they do replacing some pretty key guys.

I think Terry, Jones, and Ogenda is a solid core to build around, and we'll see how good Zion is right away as he'll get playing time there. Yeah, need to grab some transfers but it shouldn't be too difficult for Stubblefield. We'll probably see Creighton, Nova, and Uconn top 3 in preseason headlines, and a bunch of question marks. DePaul could be in that next group.

1 really good thing about tonight is that it pretty much guarantees Creighton(for sure) and St John's(most likely) finishing the year in the top 75. That'll help with the Q1's obviously.

Hawkin's will be tough to replace but Nembhard, Alexander, Kaluma and Kalkbrenner are a very solid core. We need a wing transfer bucket getter and we'll be in great shape.

Lil' C8n schooling the Huskies again. Congrats Bluejay fans. tough to swallow a 5th loss.

That was a high level game right there.

Actually - all games were pretty good last night.

Creighton left no doubt it belongs in the tourney (I think they were in W/L anyway). Should Marquette and Xavier fans be worried after last night?

We're such an easy team to scout:

1. Leave Whaley and Jackson wide open outside the paint (zero threat out there),
2. Attack Sanogo in the lane to get him in foul trouble (if unsuccessful - clog the paint and double Sanogo every time he touches the ball), and
3. Give Cole (our only shot creator) 36 minutes of hell so he's worn by the end of the game.

Unless Polley/Hawkins provide significant offense off the bench, it's a guaranteed W. McDermott did a great job.

Easily McDermott's best coaching job ever.

what would you all say- 95% of the time he would have won the coach of the year? With most years unanimously?
