Sweet 16. VILLANOVA vs BAYLOR

Was not impressed by Baylor at all. Midway thru 2nd half it still felt like a game Nova usually pulls off. Felt like the field would've opened up nice for Nova. Opportunity missed.

Baylor was able to play defense so aggressively and it seemed like the refs let 99% of their hand checks and body checks go.

That was obvious from the get go and it was consistent, so it's fair game imo.

I would suggest that it was consistently to Baylor’s advantage.

I tried watching the game and my daughter at the same time, so I wasn't 100% watching, but I'm not surprised to hear Baylor still played that way. They were really dirty when I saw Nova play Butler in Myrtle Beach last year. That's the fine line I guess around what is physical defense and what should be fouls.
