Jay Wright told reporters that Villanova's Justin Moore had an X-ray and has no broken bones. Will get an MRI when the team returns to Philadelphia.

Wright on Moore: "Probably not good for Justin."

I mean this says it all. Moore's not playing next week.

Yeah. Totally sucks for him of course.

Hopefully Nova can do what Louisville did in 2013 with Kevin Ware.

Nova was going 6 deep with Moore. The question now is who picks up serious minutes that hasn’t really been playing?

Caleb Daniels was horrible against Baylor last season and a lot of Nova fans wanted him gone, myself included. Turns out he had Myocarditis after his bout with Covid, and it made a lot of us feel very dumb for saying what we said. Would be a great story in his hometown New Orleans if he can lead Nova to a pair of victories.

Arcidiacano and Antoine my guess play 10 minutes total and the starting 5 play 38.

the one positive with that is aren't timeouts in the Final 4 even longer than normal?

That game reminded me of the BE Championship game only a little uglier. Hope there are no long term injury problems for Moore. Nova sure knows how to win games. Now go out and win it all!!

Wow a Kansas win tomorrow and they will be heading to the final four with a chance to knock out THREE of our schools. Wonder if that’s ever happened

Off the top if my head, I don't remember any school beating 3 Big East teams in one tourney.

However... in March Madness:

- 1985, the ACC got 5 bids... each was bounced by a Big East team:
... Duke lost to Boston College.
... Maryland lost to Villanova.
... Georgia Tech lost to Georgetown.
... NC State lost to St John's.
... UNC lost to Villanova.
... (although, Georgia Tech did beat idiot underperforming Syracuse... another chance for me to emphasize that the Orangemen did sh-t for the Big East in the NCAA's til 1987-- after Pearl Washington was gone... Because they live in a bubble echo chamber, Syracuse Comm-majors at ESPN don't realize that Orangeman BE exploits happened after Georgetown, St John's, VILLANOVA (1985 was not a fluke cuz of E8's in 82, 83, and 88), and actually Boston College, did the heavy-lifting early-on.)

- 2003 Syracuse (Big East) with Carmelo beat four (4) teams from the Big-12.

- 2018 Villanova beat 3 teams from the Big-12 too.
