Agreed. And I think we are well set up to do that. X, Seton Hall, UConn, Nova and Providence should all be top 6 seeds.

Depends on how the conference plays out really. I mean right now with the #1 guy- He had before Saturday Providence and UConn as 5 seeds and Villanova as a 7 seed. And that's before you see the attrition that will be the Big East IMO.

Strange year for the A10. No great teams and a lot of bad losses, but they are 15-11 vs. P5 teams. Make of that what you will.

Yeah agree with you. Even with 15-11 they have only 4 Q1 and 8 Q2 wins. Not good.

And looking at the top 10 conferences... P5, BE, AAC, A10, MWC, WCC
1 Big 12 31-15 .674
2 Big East 31-25 .554
3 Big Ten 31-28 .525
4 SEC 32-29 .525
5 WCC 23-21 .523
6 P12 26-26 .500
7 MWC 24-26 .480
8 A10 21-25 .457
9 AAC 21-28 .429
10 ACC 25-42 .373

No, that is not a typo, the ACC is the worst of the top 10 conferences.

For Just the P5/BE:
B12 24-8 .750
BE 22-20 .524
SEC 20-19 .513
B10 24-24 .500
ACC 18-30 .375
P12 7-14 .333

Interesting. Looks like:
Davison 1-0 (Alabama)
Bonaventure 1(Clemson)-1(Va. Tech)
URI 2-0 (both against BC, weirdly enough)
SLU 1(BC)-1(Auburn)
Richmond 1(NC State)-2(Maryland, Miss. State)
VCU 2(Vanderbilt, Syracuse)-1(Baylor)
Dayton 3(Miami, Kansas, Va. Tech)-1(Mississippi)
UMass 2-0 (Penn State, Rutgers)
Fordham 0-1 (Miami)
G. Mason 2(Georgia, Maryland)-1(Washington)
St. Joe's 0-1(USC)
La Salle 0-0
Duquesne 0-1(Colorado)
G. Wash. 0-1 (Maryland)

A couple nice wins in there but for the most part not a murderer's row.

Davidson and Bonaventure both have some decent wins. If they can dominate the A10 they could be in a position for at-large bids. SLU and URI could be decent wins for them in league play, and Richmond, VCU, and Dayton are ok too. I don't think Bona has enough depth to win the A10 tournament so they have the potential for a bid thief if someone knocks off Davidson. I'm guessing 2 bids for them this year, but I wouldn't be shocked at 3.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

What is funny is Dayton who had the best there also had 1 Q3 and 3 Q4 losses. Only 4-3 vs Q4 right now. But 3-0 vs Q1.

Yeah, Dayton had a real shot at a quality resume this season but the bad losses might be too much to overcome at this point. Maybe with a dominant run in the A10, but they haven't been very consistent so far.

Wow. I underestimated how weak the ACC has been.

Two consecutive down years. Will this be a bump on the road? or a more permanent affair. I hope the Big East stays on top of the ACC every year

How about these numbers:
OOC vs Q1 opponents:
Big 12: 17-13 (57%)
Big East: 13-15 (46%)
Big 10: 10-14 (42%)
SEC: 13-22 (37%)
Pac-12: 7-18 (28%)
ACC: 6-27 (22%)
The American Athletic Conference, the Atlantic 10 and the West Coast Conference (with or without Gonzaga) each have better non-conference records against Quad 1 opposition than the ACC.
