17. Marquette
34. Xavier
T-40. St. John's
45. DePaul

59. Butler

From where I sit, "Nine out of the top 70" sounds pretty sweet. Just being a Creighton Homer. Can't help myself.

St. John's would've been in the top 15 if it wasn't for the last 10 years of play. St. John's thought they could win with no name coaches and they payed dearly. St. John's was Syracuse's equal until 2002 and you know how good Syracuse has been over the years.

And St. John's at 40 ??? Weber State ahead of them and St. John's went to 1 final 4 and came within minutes of 2 other final 4's in the 1990's ? ESPN writers are off their rocker including so many teams that competed in cupcake conferences. Teams like Xavier and Butler and Creighton the exceptions of coarse.

Surprised St. John's is so low.

That's a year old Marquette overtook Villanova with last year's elite 8. But fyi when I posted this everybody spazed at me so careful.
