Xavier partners with Team IMPACT

Team IMPACT is a program that partners terminally ill children with Division 1 College teams.

Yes, I know it's all honorary, but it gives Trey Couch the opportunity to do what his terminal illness may have prevented - signing on with a Div 1 team. They hold a 'mock' Signing Day, he attends practices, and I'm not sure what all else. The ABC article states he has had a strong interest in basketball, but the disease will cause continual loss of coordination.
Just another way to live the Catholic mission of the school.
And if partnering with these types of programs is a positive for the school, which I think it is, it can only make the Big East look even better.
