Scott Gleeson has posted an article on the USA Today website, "Power Mid Majors with Final four Potential". These are the kinds of programs that the Big East should be looking at when considering candidates for expansion.

Other than the two obvious teams that have been discussed ad nauseam, the other three aren't BE material.

Not the point. I said "these kinds of programs". I didn't mean these 5 in particular.

When looking for additions, the Big East should be looking at a profile like the ones that these 5 present. I'm sure that there's a #6 and a #7 out there that didn't make this list.

The point is that any additions should have a program that has demonstrated it's commitment to achieving success at the highest level and has put the pieces in place that are necessary to accomplish that. Anyone who doesn't fit that profile should be off the list immediately.

Exactly. Add UConn.
