Interesting to compare with our poll on this site. Here's their consensus:

1. Marquette
2. Georgetown
3. Creighton
4. St. John's (tie)
4. Villanova (tie)
6. Xavier
7. Providence
8. Butler
9. Seton Hall
10. DePaul

In the PAC 12, Gary Parrish has Oregon finishing 2nd and 10th. I'd like to see that happen.

I've got Marquette first and I imagine the media will too, but I'm surprised that EVERYONE at CBS picked MU.

That's not a consensus, they aren't agreeing to it as a whole. Anyways, it's wrong, too, if they were running the poll the way Omaha1 is, then Villanova would be behind St. John's, not a tie. For spot 4 it would be 3 x Villanova; 2 x St. John's; 1 x Creighton. Then Creighton and Georgetown would later tie for 2nd with 3 x Creighton; 3 x Georgetown.

1. Marquette
2. Georgetown (tie)
2. Creighton (tie)
4. St. John's
5. Villanova

6. Xavier
7. Providence
8. Butler
9. Seton Hall
10. DePaul

But now you're not counting all the votes nor are you giving them their respective weights.

If you're going to compare it to the results of what Omaha1 is doing you should count it the same way. Respective weights an counting all votes? Nonsense, you can tally a final order in a multitude of ways so why are those essential? Voting systems are inherently rife with holes, save some extremely restrictive conditions that for all intents and purposes are never met, so if you compare what they get to what we get the comparisons should follow the same rules.

Can the season start already?, you know so we can play the games instead of talking about how they may turn out. Got I feeling it's not going to play out like a lot on here think it will.

Only a feeling? That's just sports. Easy to predict what won't. Hard to predict what will.
