I think one thing that will be fascinating to watch will be the games now in conference where the teams really won't know each other well at all.
records since the 2007-08 season vs current BE teams:
Butler- 4-5(3 vs C7 schools)
Creighton 2-2(2 vs DePaul 2007 and 2008)
DePaul 7-40
Georgetown 37-12
Marquette 44-15
Providence 14-32
Seton Hall 20-26
St John's 19-29
Villanova 30-17
Xavier 6-5(3 vs C7 schools)

I think this unfamiliarity will be something that is very noteworthy to watch particularly early in conference season.

For 1st games:
St John's/Xavier- haven't played last 6 years
Seton Hall/Providence- SH 6-3
DePaul/Georgetown- Geo 6-0
Nova/Butler- haven't played last 6 years
Marquette/Creigton- haven't played last 6 years

Think especially with St John's/Xavier and Nova/Butler- it'll be very interesting early. Marquette/Creighton a bit different since they were in the same tourney in November so they got to do a lot of scouting then in person- seeing a team in person 100% different than on tape.

Seton Hall 20-26
St John's 19-29

But Seton Hall is a worthless stain on the league and St. John's is God's gift to the universe.

Yeah, pretty much.

Back to 2007-08 doesn't even tell half the story. Marquette hasn't played Creighton in 15 years (1998 NIT).
However, MU has met both of the other two newcomers in recent NCAA tournaments (Butler 2013, Xavier 2011).

Got me researching. Amazingly, St. John's has been to just as many NCAA tournaments this century as Seton Hall has.
