1/4 St. John's @ Georgetown

St. John's desperate already for a win having lost @ Xavier and with Nova at home next on the docket.
Georgetown was asleep at the wheel vs. DePaul but still managed to win.
Georgetown has won 5 straight vs. St. John's so no one on St. John's current roster has ever beat the Hoyas.
St. John's has not won in DC since 2003 (Obviously they didn't get a chance every year, but still)
There is no love lost between the teams:
"Those two games fanned the embers between the programs to white hot. Georgetown won by 16 in a game that wasn't close and included former-Storm forward Amir Garrett firing a ball off the face of Jabril Trawick as he was falling out of bounds. After the Hoyas' 68-56 win at Verizon Center, Garrett and Trawick had to be separated after tempers flared in the handshake line."
"We don't like them at all," Red Storm junior Sir'Dominic Pointer said.
"It's got to be hereditary, like from the first game. They have a player on their team who I played with for a long time," Pointer went on, referring to his former high school teammate and current Georgetown's Aaron Bowen. "This is a rivalry game. As soon as he went to Georgetown it was like 'during the game I've got no love for you. Off the court, I love you to death but on the court no love."
"We just don't like them. You just want to beat them," junior Phil Greene said. "We haven't beaten them yet. They embarrassed us last year (at home) and beat us on their court. We want to beat them."
Going to be a very interesting game. It's also very important for Georgetown to win this game with a 3 game road swing @ Providence, @ Butler, @ Xavier coming up next.
