Creighton - Richmond - Dayton - St. Louis

In the end, there will be one left out.

Fluctuations up and down for the likelihoods for all these teams. With Richmond gaining a little more backing in recent jerseyguy/espn reports, I'm not quite sure who is going to get in. I wonder how much the reported compromise between GTown and Providence to have the office in NYC will bleed into decision of which schools are invited. I hear there are the following associations Marquette - Creighton, Georgetown - Richmond, Fox - St. Louis then a little weaker support in the way of Providence - Dayton. Maybe a little backwards when thinking of ideal athletics, but I think that makes St. Louis a pretty decent lock. In the end, they may just add Valparaiso, Detroit, Siena, Davidson, and Furman and laugh at us all, wouldn't that be a twist? hahah

I like your logic... seriously we are all going on rumors... i personally prefer logic but hell there is nothing out there concrete that either X or Butler are in. At this point they might just announce that ND really is staying with the C7, add St. Mary's and Iona and wish everyone a happy St. Pats.

Richmond would love to end up in a league with like-minded institutions, and it would be a great fit. Of course there are positives about each of these four programs as well. As a UR fan, it would be great for all of us to be in a league together. It's a shame we're stuck in this musical-chairs situation with someone being left without a seat.

That's why I would like to suggest that the four of us launch a smear campaign to expel Seton Hall from the league so that we can all be invited. Their academic standards are probably the lowest of any current or proposed members, they are pretty mediocre at best when it comes to basketball, and they play in New Jersey. Now: Go forth and smear!

I think Creighton and SLU both get in. If I am Dayton or Richmond, I am doing everything possible to get out of the A10 before it sinks.

I think your right... but i don't think the A-10 will be that bad the A-10 will still be easily a top 10 conference and will expect to send multiple bids on a yearly baisis

I'm starting a conspiracy theory that the A10 refs yesterday were instructed at halftime by the A10 big wigs to do whatever it took to make us lose since it looked like were leaving the conference...

I tell you what i almost agreed. With the calls during the Slu game, and that flop by Henry it seemed like they were trying to give JJ a flagrant... his arm if anything hit Henry's waist... i swear JJ is either a ninja or Henry flopped like a fish...

The closest I can come to "concrete" is that at the last Butler-Xavier game in Hinkle there were passes given to a few Big East leaders.
