That line with Buttgers seems like easy money to me...

Wish I could agree, I hate this game. There's nothing good that can come from it for the Hall, and a win for RU will make their season.

I know Nova isn't about moral victories, but that was a helluva fight.

Lawson and Vick might be the best 1-2 combo in the country. Really tough. Good fight but not enough for the Cats.

Needed a foul call on that last rebound where Bey got pulled around by a KU defender. But the better team won on their home court, albeit by a whisker. Nova played well, and Booth is a beast.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

Someone besides Booth, Paschall, or Gillespie needs to step-up for Nova on a consistent basis. Solid game against an underwhelming #1 ranked team on their home court. We're gonna play a lot of close games this year, have to learn how to grind them out.

Agree with the chatter about Nova. Helluva effort. But WTF Hoyas?

SMU was not a normal 6-4 team. Best player just had gotten back from ACL injury.

Worst possible type of situation- playing a team like SMU whose best player misses 6 games- they go 3-3 in those 6 games. Kills their rating. Then guy gets back and they're now 4-1 with only losing to TCU. But the 1st 6 games kill the rating.... They're going to be underrated due to the 1st 6 games probably all year long as a result...

Pirates escape. They still need to get a lot better playing with the lead. A double digit second half lead against a poor offensive team should never get that interesting.
