Go Johnnies! X coming in having won 7 straight against us and their last 4. Streaks meant to be broken. Game is sold out. Xavier has a horrible TO ratio towards the worst in D1 and we have the 4th best. X has huge advantage with rebounding compared to us. Something has to give. Must turn X over a ton to offset the almost certain large rebound differential. I'd honestly look to give Roberts a solid amount of time and if they want to pound the paint throw Keita and Roberts at them at the same time. Roberts is raw but he plays his arse off.

Can't wait for this game. X has a lot of work to do to even think about the tournament, but I'm glad we are playing a meaningful league game on the last day of February.

Elias Harden is out for X (suspended). He had a big performance against Nova on Sunday, so it's disappointing, but not a huge loss for the Muskies.

Carnesecca Arena? My guess is St. John's has double digit steals tonight. X is just too loose with the ball, and St. John's is really good at taking the ball away and scoring off turnovers. St. John's needs this to solidify its bid. And, X needs to lose to give my guys a better chance to climb out of the Wednesday night play-in game.

Heron not playing tonight kills us and is very lucky break for X. No team more generous than us in that regard. Seems when other teams get injuries it's to their non starters. Ours are almost always starters.

Are you dull on purpose? That has to be the case. We beat Georgetown without McClung this season. He came back the next game and torched us 25-5-5.

Last year when we upset Nova they were missing Paschall and another key player.

It happens to everyone. Injuries are a part of the game for everyone not just St. John’s. Jeez so tired for the woe is me attitude around this program. We love to pretend that there’s all these factors that keep us from being good that don’t happen to other programs. No, it happens to everyone but they rise above it, and for the better part of 20 years we haven’t.

We rise above the heron injury Saturday now let’s do it again

Oh, I don't know, a few years back a CU team being considered a possible final four contender lost our starting PG and soul of the team in late January to an ACL, going about .500 there out. Last year, we lost Krampelj to an ACL in February, knocking out our only decent big man and forcing us to bring a freshman no where near ready to play out of a redshirt. This year, we lost a starter (Jefferson) for 2 months, Alexander for a game and a half, and played hobbled the next game or two, and lost our starting PG for several games and who is now back playing with a cast on his hand. I don't think SJ has the market on crippling injuries.

Just a clarification...Mo hurt is knee on 1-16-17; Martin on 1-17-18 (you said it was February). Almost eerie that they were 1 year and 1 day apart.

The intensity in this game is AWESOME. The crowd is going nuts, this is fun.
