You’d think if you were to rank Arizona based on their recruiting class, that nova would also merit a ranking

maybe with Arizona and Miller their system is easier for freshmen to make an immediate impact. We just saw with Wright how difficult it was for Quinerly to make that impact.

I like this one better...5 Big East teams:

#4 Marquette
#6 Villanova
#12 Seton Hall
#19 Xavier
#20 Creighton

Dauster probably has Nova and Marquette too high. I can see Georgetown in the top 25 as well, they lose Govan but get Yterseven (sp?) which seems like an even trade imo.

I think Marquette and Nova will be top 20. Hall and Xavier will end up being ranked 20-25. Maybe Creighton sneaks in there. Gtown and Providence I think have potential to get ranked but it all depends on how their young players develop. DePaul will have same type of season, Butler and St. Johns will crash and burn.

i think that's more of a case of quinerly not being all that good and not a good system fit. Obviously, Saddiq Bey got plenty of PT for Wright this year as a freshman and we've seen spellman and brunson play before him. Antoine and JRE both look really talented and like they play stylistically more like villanova players. I think they'll see a lot of run.

i do think decoursey probably is coming at it from that perspective, but even if that's the case, arizona was horrendous last year and as good as their class is, going from #94 all the way to the top 25 is a bigger jump for them than nova, by a lot

Just looking, Arizona had a crazy 8 losses by fewer than 10 points. A bounce here, a bounce there, and they're a lot better... split those 8 games, and they're at 21 wins and likely in the NCAA tourney.
