Des Moines, Iowa view of the BE

PC is heavily after a Top 40 kid from there and we stick out like a sore thumb in his final 5 but this article when describing PC's chances gives a telling outsiders view on the BE.

I'll be rooting for you Friar, hope you land him. Not sure why McDermott wasn't all over him, kid's a perfect fit for the Jays and we need him more than any of his final 5.

We recruited him early but for some reason fell of his radar awhile ago.

Probably because we had no thread about him on our message board.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

The BJU (underground) thread on Foster is on page 3 of recruiting. As was said we were on him early and I suppose his interest dropped as he continued to blow up.

Blow up to.... Providence? Ok Beantown is right there, the RI coast is beautiful in the summer, but PC is in our conference, the Big East, and we on the Hilltop have 18K fans in a brand new NBA arena a couple hours drive from his family, gorgeous campus and brand new facilities? Should have blown couple hundred miles WEST, but still be in the BEAST! 8-) Our recruiting is not cutting it, no no no.

Visited unofficially in 2018 and possibly last April. Most think Foster is an Iowa/Ia St lean. Maybe he wasn't impressed with Creighton.
