I would not have guessed X was above Marquette and Georgetown. Pretty cool. And also ridiculous we have not made a final four yet. That has to change.

Surprised Georgetown is so low.

Those look like they're still the end of the year rankings from last year not the new 2020 rankings

That’s an oddly random span of time. I suppose these things are always arbitrary but you usually see it in multiples of 10 or since something significant like the 64 team tournament expansion.

2000 through 2019 is 20 seasons, throwing in three more just seems weird.

4 titles in that span and only 19th.

Can't speak to Georgetown but 98, 99, 2000, 2001 and 2015 are probably weighing MU down significantly. Even if he put the number from 2000 I expect MU would have a big jump.

Maybe that (97) was the year he first began his statistical measuring?
