Well we could not have asked for a better start. DePaul, Georgetown, St. John's and Marquette all win the opening games for a 4-0 lead. All four were underdogs. The Hall has a tough road game tonight at Iowa State but could clinch at least a tie for the league with a win. The last five games after tonight in the series....

Tues. 12/10 - Butler at Baylor
Tues. 12/17 - Oklahoma at Creighton
Sat. 12/21. - Kansas at Villanova
Texas at Providence
Sun. 12/22.- Xavier at TCU

Bultler lost to Baylor but the Jays took down Oklahoma. The Big East earns at least a tie in the Big East - Big XII Battle sitting at 5-2. Three more left.

What a start to the day. Friars... never count out Ed Cooley.

BTW is there a more overrated coach in America than Shaka Smart? Sheesh. So glad Marquette avoided that disaster. Thank heavens for Mrs. Smart.
