Right, people are just looking at the 30 point loss to the Hoyas.
No reason why Creighton can't roll past UCSB and Virginia.

I feel pretty confident, but our performance Saturday night does give me pause. If we were playing this game and any other given point in time other than in the NCAA tournament, I would bet the house on a victory. Still I think we should advance as long as Mahoney doesn’t go 1 for 14 from the field or something stupid like that.

The Gauchos have won 18 of their last 19 games and are led by JaQuori McLaughlin, who had 22 points in the title game against Irvine. McLaughlin, a 6-foot-4 senior guard who started his college career at Oregon State, was selected as the Big West player of the year.
