Which NCAA Win/Loss is Your Favorite/Worse Memory

This was posted on the St. John's message board and I thought I'd cut and paste it here to see what people think. To me the 1989 Seton Hall loss is probably the toughest to swallow.

Unfortunately, I have a tie between 2 of them:

1. Getting screwed against Duke by late game foul calls that kept us from our first F4; and

2. Losing to Ohio State in what should have been an upset of a dominant 1-Seed.

Jenkins FTW

Phantom travel call on Allan Ray

Coincidentally both games were vs. UNC.

Worst memory was Gordon Haywards shot not going down.

Lots of great wins for the favorite memory, but the 43-10 halftime lead against Wake Forest in 2001 still brings a smile to my face.

Greatest Memory: Upsetting Arizona to make the elite eight

Worst Memory: Getting upset by Wisconsin as a #2 seed

There are some more when I was younger but these are fresh.

I'll skip 89 and go with one I'm old enough to remember. Losing to Arkansas on a BS flagrant call on a foul we only had to give because the refs ignored the most blatant travel in the history of basketball (around 10 second mark of video) - dude catches the ball and takes 3 steps before he puts in on the floor.

Doesn't look like that to me. He caught it and established a pivot foot.

I think it's the guy who received the second pass and dribbled up court who traveled.
