Yea, my understanding is that there's something of a loophole where a game against a D2 school doesn't technically count as a game, but a game against a low-major counts as a bad game. Setting aside my feeling that that's a dumb loophole - Fox has been good to the conference, the teams should be giving Fox something to work with. Bring in an extra Indiana public and bump your ticket sales a little, even if it's just Fort Wayne.

I could be wrong but I thought that only applied to the RPI. Something along the lines of your opponents' records impacting your RPI. So a DI school with a .333 win pct negatively impacts your opponents' overall win pct and drags down your SOS, whereas a D2 school just doesn't appear at all. I don't think it works with NET, where efficiency is more important than who you play.
