As we go into this weekend, this would be how the BET would look like right now...
1 Providence
8 Seton Hall vs 9 Butler
4 UConn
5 Marquette
2 Villanova
7 St John's vs 10 DePaul
3 Xavier
6 Creighton vs 11 Georgetown

This is actually pretty consistent with the Kenpom projections. Switch Seton Hall and St. John's and bump Providence down to #3. Those projections involve half the league tightly packed from seeds 3 to 7, though.
These projections involve multiple teams with 19 games played, and Providence with 17 games played, which will probably change.

Seton Hall's Bryce Aiken (concussion) and Brandon Weston (ankle) are OUT for today's game against St. John's, per release.
Aiken averages 14.5 PPG.

I mean...
-Ohio State - 40 foot buzzer beater
-Providence - Covid, 7 players
-Villanova - Covid, 7 players
-DePaul - nothing here, were just sucked
-Marquette - face foul
-St. John's - concussion resulting from prior face foul
All of this while leading the nation (as in bad for us, good for them) in opponent's free throw %.

Yeah and now this with a team in St John's that you play 2x in 3 days that would be about the wrong team to play just about.

Well they'll certainly have seen their share of adversity if they manage to sneak into the tournament, but here we go again with the garbage play

to me your team is the classic 7-10 seed. probably will figure things out but stuck playing a 1-2 seed in the 2nd round in a brutal matchup. I mean the major bracketology has them as
7 seed stuck playing Wisconsin in Milwaukee 2nd round
7 seed stuck playing Baylor in Fort Worth 2nd round
8 seed stuck playing Arizona in San Diego 2nd round
8 seed stuck playing Baylor in Fort Worth 2nd round
