It is not right that Houston is a 5 seed. They would both be in the Final Four if in separate regions.
Houston was a brutal team to seed. They literally had 0 Q1 wins until the last game of the season. While all of the top 16 seeds had at least 5 Q1 wins and of all 32 teams that wore white in rd 1- only Houston at 1, Murray St at 2, and UNC at 3 had fewer than 4 Q1 wins(and only St Mary's and Iowa even had 4). 14 of the top 16 teams had at least 6 Q1 wins(only UCLA and Providence had 5).
What is funny is that Providence was the total opposite- terrible metrics, but 5 Q1 wins. 2 polar opposites and both could make the elite 8 out of the 4/5 hole.
