From Brad Winton:
Gray’s Recruitment Picking Up"Josh Gray of Odessa JC, who committed to FSU while on an official visit and then later de-committed and opened his recruitment back up is seeing his recruitment pick up daily. Gray, who had a triple double last night with 59 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds,
is leading the NJCAA in scoring at nearly 36 points per game. He is also averaging 6.1 assists (7th in the country) and 4 rebounds per game. Gray recently cancelled his visit to Louisville, which was scheduled for Dec 13 and only has one visit set up to LSU on December 21-22. LSU has been on Gray the heaviest since his de-commitment and they seem to be in the lead now, but plenty of other schools are jumping in the mix. Gray is also receiving interest from
Marquette, Missouri, Illinois, Texas A & M,
Providence and UNLV among others."
"Josh Gray, a 6-1 guard out of Odessa JC... For those who may not know, Gray is a transfer from Texas Tech. While at Tech, he averaged nearly 10 points per game and was selected to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. He is currently a sophomore at Odessa JC, where he opened the season with two huge games. He had a triple double in his first JC game (47 points, 10 assists, 11 rebounds) and followed that up with a 42 point and 8 assist performance in his second game against San Jacinto. Louisville was in attendance for Gray’s first game and offered after."
