2016 C Levi Cook Commits to DePaul

Nice get for a DePaul team that's been lacking big men. He's a 6-10 kid from Elev8 Academy in Florida.

Cook reportedly had offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia, PIttsburgh, and Florida International, and had interest from a host of other High Majors. At one point, he had committed to West Virginia.

I know the DePaul staff thinks he could be a diamond in the rough, as he seems to have shed a ton of weight over the past year or so (300+ down to 270), and a lot of other schools backed off when he tore an ACL. If he's healthy, and keeps his weight under control, he could be a big piece of the puzzle in Lincoln Park.

Really good pickup. Providence had been looking at him too. Could be a piece, along with Cain and Cyrus, among others, that has DePaul turning the corner.
