2 answers for questions just prior to this post. Firstly to Mr. The Hall. in addition to Dunn, this years pg position will be played by Brice Cotton at times and by Brandon Austin at times. Right now, if this were to be Dunn's last year, and chances are it won't be, Austin would be the only returning pg along with recruited walkon freshman Casey Woodring, who from all indications, may be a year or 2 away from any kind of game contribution. The Friars are still searching for a pg for this class and have been mentioned with Winston Morgan from East Hartford Ct. and a kid from Brewster Academy named something Garrett or Garrett something. Friars also involved with many in the 2015 class. Secondly to Mr. Joepaw, I think the announcement of another big recruit was in fact, Shayok. He is a player that the staff, although getting in on him late, really felt had an awful lot of upside and potential. Would not be surprised to see him jump into the top 100 by the time his senior season is over. No "big" names for now for this year, but are still looking to add a pg. Then again, there's always the possibility of someone that no one is aware of at all.

Great insight 78...I see Austin's development is a huge part of Cooley's master plan.

Huge news for Providence if anything comes out of it from The UndercoverFriar:

"Ed Cooley and staff getting involved with top '14 100 G JaQuan Lyle @JMamba5 out of Huntington prep, teammate of PC commit @Jlindsey21 #pcbb"

Creighton news from a couple of different sources:

"Jarvis Garrett...a 5-foot-11 Milwaukee native, has been arguably the best player at the National Prep Showcase this weekend – and his stock is certain to rise. His reputation would rise either way, but the dearth of players at his position makes him even more of a sought-after prospect."

"It's not a stretch to say Garrett is the best point guard left in 2014...He holds offers from Creighton, Rhode Island, UTEP, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with interest coming from Marquette. Garrett hasn't taken any visits yet."

"Here are a few of the standouts from day two of the 2013 National Prep Showcase:

Jarvis Garrett, 5’11, PG, Notre Dame Prep (MA), 2014- Garrett really took himself to another level at the NPS, pacing Notre Dame Prep to a 2-0 record. He made some really nice reads from the pick and roll, made the extra pass, and finished creatively at the cup. Additionally, the Milwaukee native made some clutch buckets in both games to cap off an outstanding weekend of hoops for this unsigned senior."

Any CU fans know if the PG search is still on for the 2014 class?

I'm pretty sure all our '14 scholarships are spoken for, so good luck to Creighton. If you need him, I hope you get him.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Class of '16
