Some of the kids from Pep Band told me he was sitting over in the front row of the recruits section. I went over and looked and indeed he was sitting there with his mom and dad. I'm presuming it was him because I compared him to his recruiting picture and it looked identical.

Not to be the bear of bad news but I highly doubt Bluiett was at Musketeer Madness last night. He had a visit with Michigan State last night that got over around 5:00 or 5:15. Then leave right at rush hour in Indy, odds are he couldn't get to Xavier until 7:30 at the earliest...and last night at around 6 he tweeted that he was working on his game. So while it's not impossible....I doubt he was there. Good luck in the Bluiett race X (hopefully he picks Butler lol). One of the best recruitments I've ever followed. Go Dawgs.

Like I said, the kid I saw looked like him. I had just as much chance of being wrong as right. Guess I should have just asked the kid who he was but didn't want to be too creepy. Guess my eyes just deceived me!

Bluiett's father said they want this to be over by Monday. Xavier is in first, and Butler is a close second. Anything can happen at this point. Watch for Michigan State as a dark horse.

As people pointed out, he wasnt among the number of recruits that were at Musketeer Madness but I have heard it is pretty much a done deal for X with an announcement coming tomorrow. Then again, I've seen similar things said off and on for about a week so I'll believe it when he actually announces it.
