Well I was wrong ESPN made him a 4 star
ESPN on Ryan Fazekas, whom they have as a 4 Star Recruit:
Updated 10/29/2013
Stretch:
Fazekas is a high level shot-maker who specializes in his ability to stretch opposing defenses well beyond the three-point arc. He's a catch-and-shoot specialist who forces opposing defenders to run at him on every perimeter touch and has a catch and rip game to expose poor close-outs. Fazekas has a high and compact release on his jumper and can also score over top of smaller defenders inside the lane with a little bit of a floater, that he can utilize both off the dribble or from the mid to high post. He's also got excellent hands, that both help him come up with clean catches on inaccurate passes and are even an asset on the offensive glass.
Weaknesses:
He's a perimeter forward, but a little bit of a 'tweener between being a face-up four-man or true wing. This is most apparent on the defensive end where he has yet to establish a true position for himself. He's also not much of a threat to create his own shot. Beyond that, his first order of business needs to be a strength and conditioning program which should help give him the physical tools necessary to become a more consistent finisher against contact.
Bottom Line:
He's a complimentary guy in a league like the Big East, but a valuable one at that, because he'll be able to provide the type of shot-making presence necessary to establish proper spacing in a half-court set.
