Damn fine pickup Jays. Just a curiosity, but you picked up a player in the 2016 class who is also top 50 on some sites, right? Have you ever had that in back-to-back classes before?

Not that I'm aware of. Benoit Benjamin was probably the highest rated recruit ever at Creighton. This is huge for Coach Mac as his biggest question mark was probably recruiting as previous top 100 recruits were under the radar (Harrell) or local (Patton) at the time of commitment. Alexander represents the first recruit that was highly ranked and sought after during his recruitment.

I read that Alexander is the top 2017 shooting guard in North Carolina.
I also read that he was considered a lock for Virginia Tech, Buzz Williams, and Buzz Williams' clipboard.
How cool is that... congrats Jays!
