D2 National Title game MOP Ryan Hawkins

D2 Ryan Hawkins of NW Missouri State entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer and has been linked to Creighton. Grew up an hour from Omaha. He was the most outstanding player of the D2 tournament, scoring 31 points and securing 18 rebounds in the national title game. He’s a stretch 4 who can shoot from distance and would fit really well into Creighton’s offense.

And there it is. Hawkins commits to Creighton.
“Creighton lands D2 senior stud Ryan Hawkins out of Northwest Missouri State. Two-time MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. 6’7” forward who won two national championships at the level and shot 41.0% from 3 on 695 career attempts.”

and 46% from three last year ! 31 and 18 in the championship game.
