A week later after a horrible week in the rankings, we should have a team or two back tomorrow.

I'll guess Nova gets ranked, with Creighton and SJU in the high 20s.

Creighton; #9 in the BE Preseason rankings, #9 in its' own fans ranking, #9 in the Media rankings...ranked in the Coaches or AP polls? Lawdy, lawdy, thank you Jesus!

Pass me whatever the Novaites are drinking this week! Way to bounce back Nova...

Wait... but how is that relevant right now? Its the non-conference season... they can still end up 9th when BE season rolls around

Unlikely that it will happen... but then again. why get ahead of ourselves?

.

Ras n Mac say they'll give any ranking back, in January, to level the conference playing field.

Lol, yet again we are being underrated. Well, whatever. Clearly this is still primarily impacted by preseason hype, which explains how Clemson has more votes than Creighton. Glad that Nova was able to get back into the rankings, but really Creighton should be #27 at worst with SJU around #29.

This poll also really shows how massive of an impact a single game has on the rankings. SJU only has 19 votes despite having the best RPI/NET in the league. Creighton, a team with no preseason hype and already one loss, has 65 votes since they beat a previously ranked Clemson team. Just goes to show that the AP doesn't really pay attention unless you play a ranked team. SJU may need to go undefeated well into December to crack the list.
