Yes Stever you are correct. Isn't it interesting that 3/10 is still better than 3/12 (with one of those getting 1 vote)... just saying. :D

new coaches Poll... http://sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa/ba ... ll/2018/3/

Nova #23

Creighton #32
Butler #36
StJ #37

Jays, Dawgs, and Redmen just have to keep winning.

Those three aaaaack teams are splitting a whopping 8 combined votes between them. Stever to be along shortly to tell us how not only doesn't the aaaaack suck, but they're criminally underrated.

entertaining the Big East vs AAC argument implies that it is even an argument.

The conferences are nowhere close to each other.
The AAC is a garbage conference with completely horrid teams at the bottom.
There is no point in comparing the AAC and the BE. None

Zags beating Duke was their 3rd try vs a #1 team...(previous 2 were losses). Here's hoping the Jays (must win at home vs Montana on Weds) can repeat history...as CU has lost prior 2 games vs a #1 team (DePaul and Villanova).

As an aside...Back when they were good - DePaul - they were elite good. C'mon DePaul...shake off the doldrums and return to glory! (I am being serious in this regard.) ;)

Agreed, Stever is the one reason the discussion happens on this forum. Even though we're only 5 years removed from a messy divorce, you won't find comparisons between the two anywhere else because there is no comparison.

Beating a dead horse here, but in the new NET ratings there are 7 AAC teams ranked below the last place BE team. AAC needs both the top of the league to become powers again, and for the bottom to get to DePaul's level. Won't happen anytime soon.

Creighton handily beats Clemson on a neutral floor, they stay ranked in the coaches poll and were the 32nd team getting votes?

BOGUS!

New AP is out.

As expected, only Nova is ranked. However, there are a few teams close to getting ranked:

#21 Nova
#28 Marquette
#31 Creighton
#32 St. John's

Both Creighton and Marquette play ranked teams later this week, so win those and they'll get ranked.

Marquette has big upcoming games against ranked Wisconsin and Buffalo (both at home). Hopefully, both of them continue winning before playing us.
