VCU got hosed at UVA with a 5 point possession against them late game.

Gonzaga's looked vulnerable for 3 games now. Another undefeated about to go down...

I like Barnes but he iced his own ft shooter up 3... it didn't cost Tennessee but I didn't like that TO.

Per school average of Kenpom top 50 wins by conference:

Big Ten: 1.3
Big East: 0.9
ACC: 0.8
Big 12: 0.8
SEC: 0.64
PAC-12: 0.25

Lol at Pac-12, they look like a 2 bid league max.

They have 4 teams in the NET top 40. And a 5th at 43. I think they're better positioned than you think- especially given their schedule should get at least 3 of those teams to 12 conference wins.

According to Rob Dauster's podcast, Pac12 is 3-15 vs kenpom top 50 and 10-33 vs kenpom top 100. They think it's a 2 or 3 bid conference, and 1 is more likely than 4.

Steve, just PLEASE stop using NET rankings on December 2 to suggest where teams are going to end up in March. Not only is this the first year of NET rankings so we aren’t sure exactly how utilized it will be by the committee .... more importantly, it’s December! We have seen how wildly these rankings change daily. I think Xavier jumped like 40 spots by beating Miami Ohio at home. Bringing up NET ratings right now - literally means nothing. Those 4 in the top 40 could be out by tomorrow.

NET has 0 PAC12 teams in the top 30. Highest is #43 AZ State... Doubt it but it'd be hilarious to see a power conference get only 1 bid.

PAC12 finds itself with 1 ranked team and a couple of bubble teams at the top. Kansas didn't do BE any favors by losing to AZ State.

Kentucky bounced back with a neutral court victory vs. UNC. Unless the Johnnies manage to beat Duke on the road, it looks like Seton Hall has the BE's most impressive win on its resume.

Novas win against Florida State might be better. I still stand by my thoughts on the Pac-12, they look like a 2 bid league, Arizona State and one other team maybe. That league looks atrocious.

another dreadful night for the Pac 12.

You know I talk here a lot about 4 losses OOC being a real dividing line.....

well Pac 12 currently-
Arizona St with 2 losses
Colorado with 3 losses

are the only 2 teams with fewer than 4 losses right now.

Heck, they only have 6 teams with fewer than 5 losses right now!!!

Looking at Ken Pom's projections right now....

they have Arizona St at 12-6.
Washington, Arizona, and Oregon at 11-7.

For the 3 at 11-7, that gets them to only 20-11. I don't know that gets any of them in the tourney at that point- would need at least 1 Pac 12 tourney win to get in there IMO.
