Georgetown almost lost to South Florida as well.
Ewing's last class is probably a little better than it should be, since Akinjo was really a lucky grab once Dan Hurley got the UConn job. If Ollie would have stayed, or if Akinjo was officially on the market all year long, its doubtful he's a Hoya today.
That being said, this SMU team isn't the same team that lost earlier in the year because they got back a future pro in Jarrey Foster.
I see Ewings trajectory as a coach (and recruiter) being a lot more like Chris Mullin. They both seem to mine for diamonds and the transfer market will likely be his best route. It looks like Jordan is doing the same, getting Tucker.
